So, I skipped posting yesterday. Sorry.

I was working on my paper yesterday, and I got a 19 page outline going on.. That should be pretty good.

I have a test tonight, too. So, I won't really be posting anything long. Bye.

My wife and I have this arrangement... she takes care of the bills and I don't freak out about running out of money. She has mastered the art of balancing our account to the penny and she knows exactly how much money is in the account at any moment.

I don't give her enough credit for it.. she really does a good job. I don't think I've wanted anything under $50 that I couldn't just go and get and she would do some creative accounting to make it work until the next payday. And, I complain all the time about her not paying bills... I'll find out that she undercut one of our bills a little (still paying over the minimum, but not paying as much as I would have liked to have paid them). But, I have to say, at least she hasn't skipped a bill yet. Some of the people I work with always complain about getting their power turned off or their phone disconnected for non-payment. That has never happened to us, and I don't think it will. She works very hard at balancing all our needs with all my wants...

And, I'm grateful for that.

Well, I don't have anything inspirational to say. I half-ass fixed my computer at home.. changed the IDE cords to make the DVD player the master and unplugged my CD-RW. I'm afraid that I won't be able to fix the CD-RW.. I flash-rom'ed it the other day and ever since then, it's broke. Maybe I need to change the jumpers in there..? I dunno. Maybe flash it backwards?

Well, I messed up Marlana's files because I can't get Works to load on the computer. Ever since I upgraded to XP, I didn't upgrade Works. I tried to find it on the internet, but I'm sure there's not much demand for Works on the internet. Ah well. She's going to try another computer. I tried the computer at work, too, but that didn't work, either. I hope that stuff works right.. I think Josh's computer has Works on it. And, her mom's should, too.

Updated the picture on the front page.. now it's the ultrasound from most recently. My scanner and videocamera doesn't work with XP, either. It sucks that so much stuff got messed up in the transfer. And, I feel like I have no time to fix it. I spent all weekend working on the nursery and it bothers me that I really didn't get much else done.

How wrong is this?

I don't know if this will work, or not. But, I find this particularly troubling. Now, I'm open to women having equal rights and all that good stuff, but I can't agree with them banning people simply because of their gender. Now, this is simply a website and a message board, but I can see it snowballing.

Isn't this exactly what "the man" did to them? Are they trying to overcompensate for that evil perpetuated by "the man?" I fully agree that men have been evil abusers of "womyn" and have subjected them to their will for entirely too long. In fact, I agree that it continues to this day. However, I don't agree that they should ban people simply because of their gender in participating in a discussion. To make matters worse, the leader of this particular discussion asks a woman to leave because she thinks she's a man. What is going on with this? I bet if I started a "man only" thread *anywhere* I'd get blasted out of the board. Same thing with a "white only" thread.

I don't know how to argue this. I can't agree with somebody forcing segregation, especially when they are a member of a traditionally segregated-against group.

Woohoo! I finished updating my website today. I haven't done an overhaul like that for... forever. It's quite a bit different.. flushed a lot of the garbage out of it and revamped some of the info. So, hope you like it.

Well, I can actually publish this thing, now. I'll work on keeping it updated.. not that anybody visits my site, but hey, what the hell?
