
Rudy Park, like nearly all other comics is probably produced six weeks in advance or more. Today's comic mentions Tim Russert and the "deceased corpse of... Peter Jennings." Oops.
What I find interesting is that I can't find anything about it - no apology, no mention of them trying to hold the comic, nothing.

Why should they apologize for what's out of their control? They didn't kill Tim Russert, and if Sunday cartoons have to be done six weeks in advance, I'm pretty sure 5 or 6 days wasn't enough time to change or pull the strip.
