I woke up in the middle of the night with a horrible charley horse so I thought, "this will be great - I can get out of my first run that I blogged about here yesterday." Then it felt better throughout the day, so I went for a jog while my wife slept and the kids played. I put my run up on Mapmyrun.com. Apparently I did better than I thought - 4 miles, 11 minute pace.
I broke the rules pretty solidly from the ideas I was sent by Raulgonemobile. Oh well. I plan on running tomorrow depending on how sore I am from today's excursion.

Dude, that's awesome! My first run was awful. I wound up rushing the first quarter mile, and was totally spent. I logged about a mile that day, along with several walk breaks.
Shit, if you ran 4 miles, you don't need the 5K program.
I think one of the key things is to keep it at a nice and slow pace, which I presume you did. Awesome job
I guess I didn't specify.. it was much more of a walky-jog or joggy-walk. I walked a good portion.
